The Keats-Shelley House Centenary Appeal

"A place of literary pilgrimage for people from all over the world"

HRH The Prince of Wales

For the past one hundred years the Keats-Shelley House has been welcoming visitors from all walks of life, who travel from all over the world to see Keats’s last home. In 2009 the  House celebrated its centenary year and is now making major improvements in Piazza di Spagna, 26:

Improvements to the House include a ticket office, shop, lavatory, and an area for temporary exhibitions and schools. We hope that these additions to the museum will improve our visitors’ enjoyment of their time in the House and enable school children to benefit more from the educational programmes we have to offer. Our tradition of exhibiting the work of artists who have been inspired by the Romantics will be further strengthened by the creation of the exhibition space.
